Assignment 3

Our third assignment was all about testing our ability to manipulate shutter speeds. We had to take a photograph using a slow shutter speed, capturing the actual movement of the action. The second photograph had to use a fast shutter speed. This would freeze the movement of the action.

My Nephew, Hayden

Hayden is technically my second cousin, but since our families are very close, I consider him to be my "unofficial nephew." These were taken shortly after his 1st birthday.

Hayden loves that deer.

Even though he knew it was a no-no, Hayden still wanted to play with that deer.

Assignment 2

The objective of our second assignment was to look at a scene in different ways. We did this by photographing a scene in a horizontal format, attracting the eye from left to right. Then, we had to photograph the same scene in a vertical format, attracting the eye from top to bottom.
